Tanzmetall is German for “DUHHHH”

Somehow I don’t think anyone was really expecting a surrender.

Rage Against the Machine is about as overrated as Halo or quantum physics. All three are regarded by hordes of morons to be at the apex of their respective fields, but provide little real value. For instance: There are plenty of other, more enjoyable games, but still Halo remains the pastime of untold numbers of college students. If someone tells you they take a keen interest in quantum physics, what’s the first thing you think? I’m betting that unless it’s a virgin professor of thirty-five or greater, pocket protector and all, in front of a high-end supercomputer, you’ll figure that that person is simply telling you that because he or she wants to appear very smart.

However, Halo and quantum physics, aside from both being overrated, have nothing to do with Rage Against the Machine, and merely served as side-rants.

It’s worth noting as well that Rage’s Tom Morello is one of the two “Guitar Legends” in Guitar Hero 3. The first is Slash from Guns ‘N’ Roses. I’ve heard it said that if Tom Morello is a “guitar legend” then grilled cheese is haute cuisine, and I agree wholeheartedly.

Christ, you’d be better off cutting yourself and listening to Bullet for my Valentine. At least then nobody could be deluded into thinking you should be taken seriously.

So, Tanzmetall… if Rage is considered “art”, then I don’t want to understand “art”. But isn’t it worth noting that they belonged to a big, corporate record label, which they used to disseminate their “anti-establishment” music? That’s not suspect at all, is it? A bunch of wealthy, ancient white guys are funding the proliferation of music advocating their demise, and the only time they do that is when they’re well aware that it has no actual value. It’s just more garbage to feed the people, to keep them from asking the important questions.

And how was that bleach?
