While the apology issued by Tanzmetall has been accepted, it is only with reservations that this acceptance is made.

It is evident that Tanzmetall meant well by attempting to make amends for the unabated flame-war that had erupted on our fair pages, but his penchant for ad hominem remarks still showed in his apology. These remarks, while not nearly as indecent and patently offensive as earlier ones, are heretofore not to be considered part of the accepted apology.

It is still regarded as inexcusable that comparisons between Grabass_Champion and a certain candidate in the 2008 presidential election were made. Indeed, Mr. Champion himself even declared such shamelessly repugnant statements were fit only “. . . for the bedrooms of sadomasochists.” Justice Champion finds this to be a perfect expression of truth, as this particular candidate represents sadomasochism, as well as all evil in the world. Possibly this lascivious insult could be overlooked if Tanzmetall himself had not asserted the connection of this particular candidate with pure evil.
