I’m aware that there is a link to LCWeb in the sidebar, but I figured I’d announce it anyway. Through much tribulation I have turned an ancient Mac LC (circa 1990) into a functioning web server. It’s a big win for those few of us that love to do amazing but stupid things with ancient computer components… Kind of like the time I managed to get a machine with an ST-506 hard drive to fileshare with my Windows 2000-based network.
Now I guess I should turn one of those into a webserver.
The LC that hosts LCWeb is actually a combination of parts from an LC that Tanzmetall owned, and one that I had. So it’s been in the Clunkline family for a while… indeed, it is a love child of Tanzmetall and I.
Editors and Assistant Editors having crappy-computer-gone-marginally-useful love-children? Is that a Clunkline scandal? Probably not. Unless network television gets a hold of it, or it involves cruelty to puppies in some way.
