It became evident to be while up there by the ordering of the signs that moose will inevitably send a “test deer” in front of them before crossing… This I gather from the fact that the moose sign always followed the deer sign. However, this only happens at night, according to the accompanying “night danger” sign.
Some of these signs had estimated the size of a moose at anywhere between 5 and 12 kilometers. Now, I don’t really know what a kilometer is, given that it’s some mystical measurement that the Canadians invented to be “different”, but I never thought moose were that big. Why haven’t the Japanese made a movie about a giant moose attack yet?
