Translated from the original German, these images and excerpts are from what is considered the founding text of aerodrome design at a time when heavier than air flight was less than a decade old. Del Mutel’s designs were mostly visions of structures to be built in a European future where cities had expanded so vastly that large, area-swallowing tracts of land for airports would be unavailable. Harg Barg Burg was a good friend of mine who drew obtuse, mind-bending comics before he went insane. The last remains of my good friend are on display.
Y’know how kids in middle schools and high schools think it’s hilarious to draw simplified penises on everything? Well it would only follow that penises would draw simplified people on things and think it’s funny. Get it? Hah? Well I thought it was funny. As you might have deduced, notebook adventures with me is a selection of some of the more wondrous doodles that I’ve produced in my time not paying attention to classes. In keeping with that tradition, I am also posting this entry during a class. Wondrous.
H4WT!!!!1 LOLBBQ!!1 To see the first of the comics Harg left me, go to this crate in his attic. Harg Barg Burg was a good friend of mine who got in a race with concrete. The good news is, he was moving way faster, but the bad news is, he rear-ended the concrete. And by rear-ended, I mean fell on and busted open his skull, but that strays away from my pretty little metaphor.
My good friend, Harg Barg Burg, drew an incomprehensible series of comics before his window-jumping accident. Some called them a cry for help. Others called them retarded. Still others called the police. He called them “DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME”.
