<p>I think aspects of it are kinda hokey but I&#8217;m arrogant enough to think I did a half-decent job myself.</p>
<p>I actually did not write this, but my acting abilities were specifically requested (for good or ill) by the guys and gals of the Variety Hour.  They held off filming for a week while they waited for me to reply to an email I&#8217;d forgotten about.  Flattering, to say the least.  I also wound up doing standup for the live portion of their show, and I wrote a sketch for them this time around, but I generally view myself as more of a contractor than a creator with the VH, since I don&#8217;t direct or write much.  But I&#8217;ll definitely help &#8216;em do what they want done.</p>
