(This is the fourth installation of Old Games That Amuse Burpen.) This was possibly the most amusing game ever made on the Sega Genesis platform. Since the invention of video game achievements have become increasingly popular, it seemed only natural to extend these virtual markers into the real world. This list is far from complete, but it’s a start in the right direction. How many have you accomplished?
Chronic MMO: Topic Overview Chronic MMO is a degenerative disease that frequently affects students and computer users in general. It can progress into stages that can result in incredibly unsanitary practices and eventually in a state of apparent death to the rest of the world. I hate Dave & Busters. I’ve hated them for a long time. It has nothing to do with their staggeringly overpriced french fries, their usurious activation fees for their cards, or that dumb way that they connect all their fans together with gears and belts. No, it runs much deeper. That’s right… the title of this rejoinder is so clever that it doesn’t even make sense! Xbox Live smack-talk is too much for me? Voice chat may have been the most irritating addition to video games ever created. I remember the first time I played Counterstrike (Yeah, a REAL multiplayer game that doesn’t allow for mad screen-looking and where it only takes a few shots to kill) with the newly-implemented voice-chat feature. Everyone that I had been playing with that was ostensibly 18, 20, 21 years old ended up being a pottymouthed 15-year-old who just couldn’t take it when I found a clever place to hide and kill them all. So, yes, in short, it is too much for me. Too much idiocy. Since the existence of both pizza and video games, mankind has been driven by an innate, underlying desire to consume as much of both as one safely can. Unfortunately, due to the number of limbs required to enjoy either of these pursuits, it has been thus far impossible for the average human beings to experience the two activities at the same time (See fig. 1).
Democrats are known for finding a way to fuck up the best opportunities they get. This time around, that way is named Hillary Clinton. It’s not that she’s completely evil. It’s not that Hillary is so liberal she couldn’t win over independents in a general election. It’s that those independents think she is, and their perception is far more important than reality. Voters are immune to truth.
